Jake Allen’s 31 Saves Lead Devils to 3-0 Shutout Over Oilers

Jake Allen stopped all 31 shots for his second shutout of the season and 26th of his NHL career, leading the New Jersey Devils to a 3-0 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Monday night to close out their Western Canadian trip.

Jesper Bratt contributed a goal and an assist, while Stefan Noesen and Timo Meier also found the back of the net. The Devils, now 8-5-2, have won three of their last four games following a four-game losing streak.

Calvin Pickard made 13 saves for Edmonton. The Oilers (6-6-1) came into the game with a two-game win streak.

Devils: Bratt’s assist marked his 12th of the season, bringing his point total to nine over the last eight games and 15 overall.
