The New Jersey Devils announced their 2024-25 preseason schedule on Monday afternoon.
New Jersey will play seven preseason, host three games at home at Prudential Center, and play four games on the road. All games are scheduled at 7 pm Eastern time.
The New Jersey Devils Have Plenty of Needs This Off-season
The Devils play the New York Rangers and New York Islanders twice, the Philadelphia Flyers, Montreal Canadiens, and Washington once. According to the Devis press release, broadcast information for these preseason games will be announced later.
Now, rookies will report to the New Jersey Devils training camp on Wednesday, September 11th, and veterans will report the following week on Wednesday, September 18.
The Devils open the 2024 pre-season slate with a home game against the Islanders on Sunday, September 22, before going to Montreal on Tuesday, September 24. The following night, the Devils will play the Capitals on Wednesday, September 25th. Then, New Jersey heads to the Island on Friday, September 27th, to take on the Islanders.
The Devils will then face their Hudson River Rivals, the Rangers, for a home-and-home, back-to-back series of games. First, on Monday, September 30th, at Prudential Center, the scene shifts to Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, October 1. The Devils wrap up the preseason at Wells Fargo Center against the Flyers on Thursday, October 3.
