Nicolas Roy, Shea Theodore, and Jack Eichel each found the back of the net, while Adin Hill stopped 16 shots to help the Vegas Golden Knights snap a four-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night.

The victory marked just the second road win for Vegas since Jan. 7.

Game Recap

Roy broke the scoreless deadlock early in the second period, netting his seventh goal of the season at 3:09. Theodore followed with his seventh tally at 11:18 to double the Golden Knights’ lead.

Eichel extended the advantage to 3-0 just over four minutes into the third, scoring his 19th goal of the season.

Ondrej Palat ended Hill’s shutout bid with a power-play goal at 15:43, assisted by Stefan Noesen and Jesper Bratt.

New Jersey entered the contest fresh off a shootout victory over Pittsburgh on Tuesday but has now dropped three of its last five games.

Vegas had struggled in its previous six outings (1-3-2), including back-to-back losses to the Rangers and Islanders at the start of its current four-game road trip.

Devils captain Nico Hischier missed his fifth straight game due to an injury sustained from a cross-check by Montreal’s Nick Suzuki on Jan. 25. Meanwhile, defenseman Simon Nemec made his first NHL appearance since Oct. 22 after being recalled from AHL Utica.

Jake Allen made 36 saves for New Jersey but dropped to 8-11-1 on the season.
