Timo Meier wasted no time breaking a second-period deadlock, scoring just 14 seconds into the third to propel the New Jersey Devils to a 3-1 victory over the Utah Hockey Club on Saturday night.
Nico Hischier and Curtis Lazar also found the back of the net as the Devils secured their fourth win in their last five road contests. Goaltender Nico Daws stood strong in net, making 24 saves.
