David Pastrnak scored a goal and added two assists to surpass the 100-point mark on the season, leading the Boston Bruins to a commanding 7-2 win over the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night.

Jeremy Swayman stopped 20 shots in net for the Bruins, who earned just their second win in the past 13 games. Boston also tallied its highest goal total in a single game this season.

Michael Callahan netted his first NHL goal, while Jakub Lauko, Casey Mittelstadt, Morgan Geekie, Fraser Minten, and Cole Koepke also found the back of the net for Boston.

New Jersey, which came into the night riding a three-game winning streak, got goals from Stefan Noesen and Timo Meier. Goaltender Jacob Markstrom struggled, allowing seven goals on 23 shots before being replaced by Jake Allen in the third period.

Pastrnak opened the scoring at 9:38 of the first period with his team-leading 41st goal of the season. Callahan doubled the lead with his milestone goal late in the period, and Lauko made it 3-0 early in the second.

The Devils briefly rallied in the middle frame, with Noesen scoring his 21st goal and Meier following just 19 seconds later with his 25th to cut the deficit to one. But Mittelstadt restored Boston’s two-goal advantage with 53 seconds left in the second.

Boston then pulled away in the third, with goals from Geekie, Minten, and Koepke sealing the lopsided win.
